David McKinney

David started working for S. B. White during the summer after his freshman year in college in 1994. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1998 as an EIT. He worked as a plant engineer on four (4) Co-op rotations for Michelin at their truck tire plant in Spartanburg, SC from 1995 to 1997 while working on his degree. He went to work as a chemical plating engineer for AMP, Inc. in Winston Salem, NC after graduation but decided to return home in 1999 to start back with S. B. White as a project manager and estimator. He was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2001, and he became Vice President and General Manager in 2005. David became licensed as a mechanical contractor and plumber from the State of Tennessee in 2009.
