S. B. White teamed up with Mitch Cox Construction to renovate approximately 9000 square feet from an old flooring store to a new state of the art Oncology Infusion Center for Wellmont Health Systems in Johnson City. The project required completely cutting up the existing concrete building slab and roughing in all new underslab plumbing systems. We installed new medical gas systems as well as installed a new 2″ water main to serve the new space. The project also included a special Clean Room HVAC system to serve the Chemo, Ante and Buffer compounding rooms with a roof mounted Greenheck unit with digital scroll compressors, hot gas reheat, variable frequency drive and HEPA filtration. With only about 3 months of total time to completely transform this former retail space, it took a great team with close coordination in order to meet this aggressive deadline and we were proud to be on board.
