In 2018-2019, S. B. White installed all of the plumbing and HVAC for a new 4 story building for Eastman Credit Union in Kingsport in another successful partnership with GRC, Inc. This new Support Center for ECU is approximately 60,000 square feet and features high efficiency Trane rooftop units with variable volume boxes for zone control and a complete direct digital control building automation controls system. Eastman Credit Union has been a part of the greater Kingsport community for years since starting in 1934 originally to serve the Eastman employees. In 2005 it expanded its reach to include everyone in Upper East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Eastman Credit Union has almost 200,000 members and over 700 employees. This new facility will house ECU’s training and development department, several member support departments and ECU Title & Escrow for a total of up to 200 additional employees.
