Our Work

Elizabethton High School Band Room

S. B. White contracted with construction manager GRC, Inc. from Kingsport on the second phase of the 5 million dollar renovation and expansion project at Elizabethton High School that started with the construction of the new football stadium. In this phase we helped on a 14,200 square foot expansion and renovation to the existing band room at the school. As you can imagine the acoustics of the space were of utmost concern and a lot of care went into the design by Thomas Weems and his consultants as well as the construction of the space itself. We installed highly efficient Trane rooftop units for both the 8500 square foot expansion and 5700 square foot renovation. Despite the challenges of doing the project during the winter and while the school was occupied, the project was completed on time.
